Script Submission Guidelines

The WOP was founded to create equal opportunities for female artists in film and give a voice to female writers like you. At the WOP we celebrate female comradery and friendship amongst women in our chosen industry.

How it works...

Scripts are divided and circulated at random amongst members of our Reader's Panel for review. The script is then reviewed based on a rating system. The 5 scripts with the highest ratings will be the chosen for production. The writers will NOT have access to the panel's responses.

Chosen scripts will be announced on Feb. 21st. Writers will be contacted by producers from Counterfeit Cow Productions to schedule development meetings. Writers will be credited for their work. The script is then assigned, at random, to a director for production. Filming will take place in the Spring (TBD). Screenings of all films will take place in a showcase (TBD) and will be submitted to local film festivals.
